Acting Up (in Acadiana)’s 2019 Student Showcase
Lafayette, LA — Acting Up (in Acadiana) presents TO DO OR NOT TO DO, THAT IS THE QUESTION, the 2019 Student Showcase. An original play written by Acting Up (in Acadiana) students with contributions from the professional company members. Performances take place Wednesday and Thursday March 20 and 21, 2019 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts at 6:30 PM.
TO DO OR NOT TO DO, THAT IS THE QUESTION explores the hopes, dreams, fears and passions of members of Generation Z. At times humorous, at times touching, and at times a bit painful, the production has the young cast take a self-reflective look at themselves and the world around them. They envision what they can do to make a difference in it.
Directed by Amy Waguespack, with assistants Kayleigh Byrd, Ian Faul, Jessica Hackett, and Vegas Woods TO DO OR NOT TO DO features performances by actors ages 7-17, with cameo appearances by professional company members Skeet Anseman, Hannah Briggs, Sarah Mikayla Brown, Cameron Metrejean, George Saucier, and Cissy Whipp.
