Acting Up (in Acadiana), now in its sixth year, has performed almost exclusively in 'non-theatre' spaces-through we anxiously await the completion of the new state of the art theatre now under construction at the Acadiana Center for the Arts-the lack of traditional space has effected us as artists. We concentrate on character, story, and our relationship with audience. Everything else is lagniappe!
